packing for women for trip

well you all heard that i and 4 other people are going trip a 3 day trip down to Lansing mi our state capitol. we all make mistake in packing, This the first time i am going with a new group. i am excited, nervous, scare and freaking out . i am waiting impatient for this day to come. and all i have to prepare for the best and not hope for the worst. i know am going have fun. i will learn a lot when i go. i know i can do this. i just wanna make every one proud of me. as i look forward to the to trying new thing, i am hoping that my friend will follow me in my journey as i go.
Tip for packing
1.       Place curling iron, straightening iron, hot rollers, or any other hair styling tools  mirror between clothes because they break easy
2.       Jewelry (a few versatile earrings, necklaces, and rings will go a long way; fortunately, though, jewelry is small. It's best to store these pieces in small bags to prevent loss, tangling, and damage.
3.       Make a list...and check it twice. Using a packing list will make sure you not only cut down on items to bring, but also remember to bring underwear (you'll never forget underwear twice by the way
4.       Don’t pack what’s already there.
5.       Hairdryers are suitcase hogs and the majority of hotels now come complete with one in the room, so check the hotel web site and leave it behind. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, cotton balls and Q-tips are also standard staples. Certain hotels I look forward to their products. I can smell people in Santa Monica and tell which hotel they are staying at. Beach towels also fill-up half your bag, so another good thing to check ahead of time.
6.       zip lock plastic bags- for snacks, toiletries, keeping outfits together, keeping socks together, keeping wet stuff from ruining the rest of the clothes in the suitcase
7.       Highlight any items on the list that need to be purchased prior to your departure. These items can be added to your shopping list so that you have everything you need before leaving on your trip.
8.       Check the weather at your destination. You can do research on weather websites to have an idea of how the weather would be like during the time that you would be at your destination. Colder climates would necessitate you to pack heavier clothes that would keep you warm, such as jackets, sweaters and coats. Warmer, tropical climates would allow you to bring lighter articles of clothing, such as dresses and tank tops.
9.       If you like to take pictures, pack a camera.
10.    Make sure that any medications are easy to access -- in your carry-on or in a purse or pouch you can reach easily in the car.
11.    Don't forget to lay everything out and make a checklist to ensure you have everything you need.
12.    Buy travel-sized toiletries for your trip, so you can easily dispose of them after your trip and save space in your luggage.
13.    Bring items such as a book or a notebook and pen to keep you entertained.
14.   Organize, organize, organize. You know those bags you get when you buy a nice pair of shoes? Use them to separate bras, underwear, socks, tights, dirty clothes, whatever. They help make things easier to find and can save space, too.
15.    Cut the static. Pack little plastic bags filled with fabric softener sheets in your suitcase and leave them there for future travels as well. If you get static cling, you’ll be so happy you have them!
