While it the holiday season and another year come to a end and a new year starts. What do i think of Christmas? I think of Christmas it time to gift for one, be with family, open gift from one to another, put up a tree and decorationing the tree and bakes lots of goodies. Plus Santa Claus come to town and bring toy and gift for the girl and boys. It is fun to christmas shop even through it hard to shop for a person and can't think what to get them. Plus winter is underway even through we still have no snow yet. I think the student are looking for to having snow day.
I was reading ogemaw herald the area school are doing special event that is bringing the hoilday cheer to our area.
At Rose City Schools, elementary students will host a holiday concert on Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. and a family night on Dec. 15 from 5-7 p.m. The middle school band will hold a holiday concert on Dec. 15 as 7 p.m. as well.
In West Branch, Surline Elementary will hold a family night on Dec. 12 from 6-7:30 p.m., with holiday crafts from the students on display, in addition to other family events planned for the night. The middle school band and choir will join the Ogemaw Heights High School band in performing its annual holiday concert at Ogemaw Heights on Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. The OHHS band will also hold its Christmas Bazaar at OHHS on Dec.3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. i hope you can go see some of the event that are going on in our area
Even part of michigan is get snow already. I am suprise to see no snow but I know it coming if it didn't hit us in the first around it will hit us the next round. I heard that south of us already had their first snow day today. Even through I am not looking forward to winter because of arthris the ankle. Even through I like winter to build thing out of snow and all the winter activitys.
Santa Claus is watch to see if we been bad or good and checking his list twice to see nice or naughty. he been working hard to get all the gift done by christmas time.
Christmas shopping got done yet. I am almost done with my family gift. Then all I have to is to wrap them up. i finding how hard to get family because they already have it.
The christmas goodies make those treat and sip down that egg nog or hot chocolate. I think my favorite cookie are the peanut butter blossoms, m&m cookies, chocolate cover pretzels and many other one too.
Putting up Christmas decorations it kind of cool to see the town getting ready for christmas even out here in the country doing it. I know some people will agree they like see the christmas lights on the tree or see a christmas tree in the windows.
Will I know one thing what memorable this year was getting my volunteer award for she still comes to the school and helps out the office staff, the custodial staff, etc. It's awesome that someone recognized her hard work! That I am still proud of me. I really don't know what next year will bring me. But I know where ever my life takes me. I will followed that path.

The Junior Year Challenge
The year I race the the guppy. I train for a long time in that second semester. I knew one thing thing get my time down and it taken a lot of time to train and had to give up my free time to do it. Also knew that I could beat the guppy. First I had to get a rountie fiqure out. The routine was to start off with the front crawl and then when I reach the 25 yard mark then I flip to my back crawl to give me time to breath and give my arm a rest till I had to turn to finish up with the front crawl. I had to work on my flip turn and my turn so it will not affect my time or add time to me. Every other day I got or try to get me time I think I got me from almost 2 minutes down to 54 second that was a big archivement for me. I went from have no confidence to having it. It was even put in the our daily announcement.
The day of the race. I had nerves run through me. I even had my own cheering section thank to my friends and classmates. I try to sneak peak and see how many people are in the pool area. The pool area was pack full. I was suprise to see the pool area was full by the school almost everyone was there to see it. If the guppy didn't have is horse floating device he will give the shark run for her money. The time before the race start we end up doing one splash each just for fun. If the guppy had a rountine I think the guppy could of beat me. I am glad that I won it because I didnt want to owe the guppy a cookie. he had to owe me instead. We even high five each other. Even through the water was cold. The guppy was a few second slower then me. What made me swim faster was the cheering that I could hear from the crowd. I made sure I touch that wall. Even through the guppy didn't touch the wall. While in the deeper water the guppy came close to catch me but wasn't even close to catch me. I was glad that I had my goggle and flippers. When they announcement the winner I was suprise it was lane 1. I thought to myself that the guppy had won or did I win. If I didnt win that the class I token at that time would have to do more lap. Lucky I have won and had to do five or four lap for that day. Even through there was rematch issues and never happen. When I got to my next class. My class suprise me with a banner and told me good job. I was so shock I was in I end up crying. I was happy that I won that race.
The guppy daughter interview us. the question where ask. How long was I preparing for the race? The shark said before senior trip or a long time. the guppy said 4 minutes. What did we think the completion? The shark said it was good. The guppy said she was good today and she was on her time I couldnt catch me at the end. What did i think of the guppy? did i think he beat me? i throught the guppy will beat me. i had my time good enough where he can't beat me. we got to talk to each other and said good job and practice in my kiddy pool. Plus practice in the ocean. We both did a Good Job
The swim teacher ask how much i was going beat him next year? i said idk and he said twice much or more. the guppy ask the swimmig offical was it a close horse race? She said his flip turn got him and didnt touch the wall and almost throw his horse out of the water. The Guppy said it was close.
Atleast I am the only one challange a teacher or someone in the OHHS swimming classes.
