While it the holiday season and another year come to a end and a new year starts. What do i think of Christmas? I think of Christmas it time to gift for one, be with family, open gift from one to another, put up a tree and decorationing the tree and bakes lots of goodies. Plus Santa Claus come to town and bring toy and gift for the girl and boys. It is fun to christmas shop even through it hard to shop for a person and can't think what to get them. Plus winter is underway even through we still have no snow yet. I think the student are looking for to having snow day.
I was reading ogemaw herald the area school are doing special event that is bringing the hoilday cheer to our area.
At Rose City Schools, elementary students will host a holiday concert on Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. and a family night on Dec. 15 from 5-7 p.m. The middle school band will hold a holiday concert on Dec. 15 as 7 p.m. as well.
In West Branch, Surline Elementary will hold a family night on Dec. 12 from 6-7:30 p.m., with holiday crafts from the students on display, in addition to other family events planned for the night. The middle school band and choir will join the Ogemaw Heights High School band in performing its annual holiday concert at Ogemaw Heights on Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. The OHHS band will also hold its Christmas Bazaar at OHHS on Dec.3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. i hope you can go see some of the event that are going on in our area
Even part of michigan is get snow already. I am suprise to see no snow but I know it coming if it didn't hit us in the first around it will hit us the next round. I heard that south of us already had their first snow day today. Even through I am not looking forward to winter because of arthris the ankle. Even through I like winter to build thing out of snow and all the winter activitys.
Santa Claus is watch to see if we been bad or good and checking his list twice to see nice or naughty. he been working hard to get all the gift done by christmas time.
Christmas shopping got done yet. I am almost done with my family gift. Then all I have to is to wrap them up. i finding how hard to get family because they already have it.
The christmas goodies make those treat and sip down that egg nog or hot chocolate. I think my favorite cookie are the peanut butter blossoms, m&m cookies, chocolate cover pretzels and many other one too.
Putting up Christmas decorations it kind of cool to see the town getting ready for christmas even out here in the country doing it. I know some people will agree they like see the christmas lights on the tree or see a christmas tree in the windows.
Will I know one thing what memorable this year was getting my volunteer award for she still comes to the school and helps out the office staff, the custodial staff, etc. It's awesome that someone recognized her hard work! That I am still proud of me. I really don't know what next year will bring me. But I know where ever my life takes me. I will followed that path.
